An Evening with The Hounds of Finn

The Hounds of Finn create spirited and invigorating Celtic-infused, Americana-inspired, folk rock delivered with unbridled passion and electrifying energy. “The Hounds” engage and entertain with rousing, crowd-pleasing performances that leave their audiences enraptured and invigorated. The craic is mighty, indeed.

Pete McCauley, Michelle MacGregor, Lojo Russo, and featuring, Leslie Rich, perform a repertoire of original songs, original and traditional tunes, and fresh arrangements of popular standards. With a stage full of more instruments than there are members, this St Paul, MN based band is dedicated to exploring and bridging the gap between the old and new.

Steeped in the rich, lilting, and sometimes haunting heritage of Celtic tunes and songs, and the authentic, poignant, and often compelling legacy of Americana, Bluegrass, and Folk music, the Hounds of Finn blend these musical and cultural traditions into a distinctive sound and exciting experience.

The Midway Music and Arts Festival is a neighborhood-wide celebration spotlighting the creative energy, cultural diversity, and small business ecosystem of St. Paul’s Midway. Anchored in the idea that the Midway is both a geographic and cultural meeting point, the festival brings together music, art, literature, and community. Our local parks, small businesses, and performance venues will transform into arts spaces and stages, hosting events that range from arts and crafts show to live music, and from literary readings to DJ sets, creating a dynamic, walkable, transit-oriented experience that encourages exploration and connection across the Midway.

Advance tickets available online until 4 pm on the day of show. After that, admission will be $25 at the door. Youth 18 years and under enter for free.
