The Midway Music and Arts Festival is being organized for our neighbors and by our neighbors. Our community is strong because of our diversity and the way we create space for one another, and we want to uplift the talent, voices, and vision of our neighbors. Whether you’re a local business owner, an artist, musician, writer, or community member who wants to volunteer, there is a role for you and many ways to get involved.

We’re looking for visual artists to display their art at the MMAF. This is an application for visual artists who would like to display their art at the Midway Music and Arts Festival (MMAF), preferably artists with some kind of connection to the Hamline Midway neighborhood. The Midway community is home to an eclectic mix of bands and venues. We’ll be hosting musicians in a mix of larger venues with more traditional stages and smaller, more intimate spaces in local businesses. This is an application for performers who would like to showcase their art at the Midway Music and Arts Festival (MMAF). We’re looking for performers in mediums such as Theatre, Comedy, Dance/Movement, Circus Arts, Puppetry, Drag, and more.

We’re looking for writers, literary organizations and book lovers to join us and read their work, lead workshops, and volunteer. Midway Music and Arts Fest is a love letter to the Hamline Midway neighborhood, and we aim to uplift the amazing artists who live, work, and love the Hamline Midway neighborhood!
